Subramanyam is a 29 years old Young progressive shrimp farmer from Puligumma, Pamulaparru, West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. His father is an agriculturalist. He has 5 years of experience in shrimp farming. Before entering the farming, he was employed at shrimp farms as a feed boy and supervisor.  His interest and experience in the field led him to start shrimp farming on his own land in 2017. Now he runs a shrimp farm on four acres.

He harvested Shrimp with an average body weight of 20 grams in a crop period of 90 days, which falls in 50 counts with an FCR of 1.28. He harvested a crop of 10 tonnes of shrimps from an area of 4-acre ponds.

The farmer faced EHP and WSSV problems during the culture. These problems are overtaken by using SMPL products Aqua One, Seedone Growout, Growup, Rider, O Gen Tabs, and Vansafe.
