Kesamraju is a shrimp farmer from Adavikolanu Village, Nidamarru (Mandal), West Godavari District. He has seven years of experience in Vannamei farming. He is a first-generation farmer, and before coming to aquaculture he was in agriculture. Puneethvarma, a diploma-holder, is also assisting him in Vannamei farming.

He owns a six-acre site with three ponds. A stocking density of 45PL/m2 was used to stock all 3 ponds with shrimp. During the crop period of 100 days, the shrimp reached a marketable weight of 35 grams on average. The farmer harvested a crop of 22 tonnes of shrimps from an area of 6 Acres.
