Rabindranath Bahara is a farmer cum dealer located at Barabuda, Balitutha, Kujang, Jagatsinghapur District, Orissa. He started shrimp farming in the year of 1995 and has 26 years of experience in the aquaculture field. Before coming to this field, he was doing Shrimp and Fish export business to the other states at a small level. He is the first-generation farmer involved in the shrimp farming field in his family.  His area is not fit for Agri Farming due to the non- fertility land. But this area is well suited for Shrimp farming because his area is fully covered by a brackish water canal and also so many potentialities to culture vannamei and black tiger shrimp for that he entered in this field.  Before coming to the Vannamei farming he was cultured Black Tiger Shrimp on his farm successfully. He is a large farmer, having 5 sites with 85 ponds. The total area of the farm is 20 ha. His farm name is Chapali Farm located at Mahakalpara, Kndrapara. In his farming, he faced organic load and white fecal disease problem and overcame through the use of SMPL Products like Top Soil, Macro PS, Gut Act, Rescue, and Raksha.

Also, He is owned with Bahera Aqua Feeds shop at Balitutha. He is a dealer for Aqua health products and Feeds. He is covering 20 farms nearly 150 ponds. He is doing business for Salem Microbes, Falcon, Avanti, Devi, CP, National aqua Care Products, and Supreme BioSolutions companies.  He is selling 300 MT feeds per year.
